In Loving Memory,
Annette Wheeler

For those in our troop during the time Chris was scouting with us, you already know the love Annette had for her son and belief in the program. For those who were not, Chris came to us as a second year scout seeking a troop who could support him in ways he needed. Chris was legally blind however, his mom's love for him and determination to ensure he flourished was unwavering. No matter the adventure, including cold weather camping, hiking on the Appalachian trail, she came on trips to work with us to give him every opportunity possible. Annette became family, spending cold nights by the fire as Scoutmaster Brian kept it going. She always was lending a helping hand. Even after Chris achieved the rank of Eagle and later aged out, Annette still helped out with our Pack and Troop in various ways.

To help the family during this hard time, we are taking a collection to help offset costs associated with their loss.
